Rare sideboard DU-01 from the Japanese series, designed by Cees Braakman for Dutch furniture company UMS Pastoe in 1958.

Very elegant modern teak sideboard on black metal feet and black integrated handles. The teak wood veneer has a beautiful warm color and the wooden storage has a floating appearance.
One storage compartment with shelve, and 4 bentwood drawers, which are typical for the designs by Braakman.
Cees Braakman was one of the most influential mid-century modern designers of the Netherlands.

In very good original condition with minimal usermarks.
